On Friday 17 April 2026, the Johannesburg Heritage Foundation, in partnership with The New Titanic Museum, hosted a distinguished evening of unmatched elegance at the magnificent Northwards estate to commemorate the 114th anniversary of the Titanic’s tragic sinking.
Guests were transported back in time with a curated three-course menu reimagined from the original bill of fare, accompanied by the authentic sounds of the Biju Strings classical quartet. The evening’s highlight was the unveiling of the Titanic Grand Staircase in Miniature – an exquisite masterpiece commissioned from the JOOHOUR Company of Hong Kong and presented by artist and curator Gino Hart.
